Do you pride yourself on your exemplary organisational abilities, robust communication skills, and a meticulous attention to detail? Can you effortlessly navigate varying scenarios with a flexible, professional demeanour?

If yes, we would love to hear from you!

In this role you will work with clients to create, edit and develop creative communication concepts in a fast-paced working environment. You will be the main point of contact for digital activity - attend client meetings, manage content and provide performance updates. We’re looking for a team player, who’s willing to get stuck into all aspects of the business to ensure we meet client expectations. For the successful candidate, there is plenty of potential to grow and develop.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating a social media schedule and posting regular content across all brands and platforms, including sponsored content, competitions, sharing news links, conducting interviews, creating fun and engaging content, engaging with brands, partners and followers
  • Running the social media schedule ensuring paid and in-house content is scheduled across all three brands, and keeping the schedule regularly updated
  • Creating a social communications plan for all our events, including our national competitions and awards
  • Working with the events, operations and editorial teams to determine the most effective content for our event sponsors
  • Analysing social media channels' statistics
  • Measuring performance and adjusting accordingly
  • Identifying new digital opportunities and formats, and promote a ‘test and learn’ approach to content production
  • Creating video content and graphics where necessary (in-house design support available)
  • Attending press events to provide coverage on social media
  • Attending external and internal events, college visits and meetings
  • Competitor analysis
  • Meeting deadlines

Skills required:

  • Experience with using social media platforms and apps (such as Instagram, TikTok, Later.com, Premier Pro or similar)
  • Proficient in Word/Excel
  • A full driving licence is preferable

Crucially, you will be a team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude who is capable of working in a team, but you will also be expected to work alone. The ideal candidate will have a passion for all things digital, lots of motivation and an awareness of the importance of an impressive public image.
