Water Treatment Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Water Treatment Engineer to join our expanding engineering team. This role plays a key function with completing all pre-planned maintenance water hygiene works for clients. This role is field-based with work primarily located in the North Wales. Travel will be a requirement of this role and you may be required to travel further afield depending on business need.

Role and responsibilities:

As a Water Treatment Engineer at SMS Environmental, you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out a variety of water hygiene works to a high standard
• Cleaning and disinfection of showers
• Checking and cleaning water tanks and systems
• Carrying out TMV checks and maintenance
• Checking and disinfection of calorifiers
• Completing all work on in house software using an iPad

Key Skills and Experience:

We are looking for someone who is able to demonstrate:

• Previous water hygiene experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to use iPad technology

There are some requirements that are needed to take up this post:

• Full UK Driving Licence – You will be provided with a company van

Applicants must be able to provide evidence of their Right to Work in the UK.

All roles at SMS require a DBS check; SMS Environmental will cover the cost of this if you do not already hold a valid DBS certificate.
