(Cloud Engineer – remote – 4 months – £475-550 pday Outside IR35)
Our client who are a leading global provider of advanced energy solutions and services are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining the cloud infrastructure for EnergiEase. This includes setting up, configuring and optimising cloud-based systems and services, ensuring high availability and security. You will also work closely with the development team to design and implement scalable and flexible cloud solutions
You will be responsible to design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure for EnergiEase energy management system. Ensure the system is available, scalable, and secure for all users. Manage the migration of data and applications from traditional infrastructure to cloud-based solutions. You will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining the cloud infrastructure for EnergiEase
Expertise
HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
AWS, Azure.
SQL and NoSQL.
(CI/CD)
Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins.
Skills and Requirements
Cloud computing:
Knowledge of various cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure,
and experience in cloud architecture, deployment, and management.
Energy management systems:
Understanding of energy management systems, smart
energy systems, and energy management protocols such as Modbus, etc.
Networking:
Familiarity with networking protocols, IP addressing, subnets, VPN, etc.
Database administration:
Experience with database design, SQL and NoSQL databases, and data analytics.
Web technologies:
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web development frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue.js.
Security:
Understanding of security protocols, encryption techniques, and firewalls.
DevOps:
Experience with automation, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), and tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins.
Project management:
Ability to manage projects, track project status, and manage stakeholder expectations.
Continuous learning:
Commitment to ongoing learning and development to stay current with the latest technologies and trends in energy management systems.
9+ Years of Experience in Renewable Sector
Relevant Degree

Salary: £475.00-£500.00 per day
