Production Operative

SIPs Eco is a growing Sips Timber Frame Manufacturer specializing in SIP (Structural Insulated Panel) construction, the company now seeks an additional 2 Operatives to join their growing production team based in their factories in Glenrothes, Fife.

Ideally candidates should come from a manufacturing background and have experienced in a fast-paced environment.

The Job will require you to sometimes work alone and sometime within a team. The positions available will be for various areas on the shop floor, this can vary from pressing sips panels, to cutting or rebating sips panels. Using a saw to cut timber, building internal partitions or metal web posi joists. Experience using hand tools, saws and nail guns and drills etc. would be advantageous.

You May be required at times to move workstation to help the team out in the busier periods. This position for the right candidate, has a possible view in the future to be trained in all areas of the manufacturing side of the business.

Candidate must be hard working and punctual with a can-do attitude. Must work well as part of a team but also as an individual.

Combi forklift and Counterbalance license would be desirable but not essential.

The positions available will be full time dayshift 8am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-3pm on a Friday , with overtime when required.
