Position Overview & Specifications

Join our Smart Infrastructure division as an Operations Manager, specialising in delivering projects in the Fire and Security Regional Services & Solutions business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager who has the ability and proven track record of managing multiple projects in the Fire and Security market.

The role will be site-based in London but may involve travel for some wider projects.

What part will you play:

  • You will work closely with our Sales & estimating teams, our Customer Relationship Managers & Operational teams to achieve outstanding delivery for our customers.
  • Achieve or exceed all customer service KPI’s.
  • Co-ordinate the works to match or better the given time and budget.
  • Proactively Manage Risk and Opportunity throughout the installation phase, identify and assess all risk factors. Implement procedures for solving issues and problems (identification, analysis, actions and controlling).
  • Communicate job progress/performance to clients, ensuring works are carried out to the specification.
  • Responsible for ensuring all works are being carried out in accordance with H&S guidelines and as per RAMS.
  • Liaise and build relationships with nominated Sub Contractors who are selected to carryout works.
  • Interact with all areas of the business to ensure information is obtained and provided to deliver projects.
  • Promote the Siemens brand, solutions, and services.

What skills and experience will you bring:

We are looking for someone with a consistent and proven track record of managing a team to deliver projects within the Fire and Security Market, both in construction and Blue-Chip end user environments.

You will have exceptional management experience with a customer focused attitude, and the ability to deliver multiple projects ranging in size whilst supporting business growth initiatives, meeting goals and targets that align with the company's vision and objectives!

Strong Contractual and Commercial Awareness and experience in negotiating final accounts is key. The ability to build relationships with prospect clients and organisations to maintain desired pipeline levels and a passion for coaching and mentoring engineers is essential.
