Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist (High Risk Pregnancy)

We are currently seeking to recruit a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with an interest in High Risk Pregnancy to join the Women and Children’s Division at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The post holder will join a team of thirteen Consultants providing services to the local population within Mansfield and Ashfield, Newark and Sherwood. The successful candidate will provide support and leadership for our high risk pregnancy service as well as further development of the obstetric medicine service. The appointment will help to continue to provide excellent intrapartum care, support and training within the on call component of the post, meeting the requirements of CNST as well as the Ockenden report. Although an ability to undertake gynaecology , both emergency and planned care, would be beneficial to the service,it would not be essential for this roledependent upon the successful candidate’s skill set and wishes.
