Photography Studio/Client Services Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a diligent Photography Studio and Client Services Assistant with some experience in the commercial photography/creative industry to join our Leeds Cleckheaton photography studio. This is a 12 months fixed term contract (with a view to a permanent role thereafter).

The primary responsibility of this role will be to support the photography studio and to perform client service duties for our varied portfolio of accounts. You will assist in the preparation of photo shoots, ensure the studio is clean and tidy and perform ad-hoc tasks around the studio, you will also assist our client service team with booking in product, creating digital inventories, etc.

We are fast growing with unrivalled ambition and require a passionate, motivated and ambitious individual to join our small but dynamic and talented team.

You will provide support to the full photography studio across the studio, client services and retouching teams as needed. From assisting photographers with ecommerce shoots for our fashion brands to planning location campaign shoots with our lifestyle clients and production team, you will provide assistance across a variety of clients, sectors and services.

Key tasks overview

• General studio upkeep and tidy up
• Ad-hoc tasks around our studios and location spaces
• Set up and take down of studio/lighting setup
• Assist on photographic shoots
• Manage prop store and assist in buying and selecting props
• Support in shoot prep (painting / tidying / etc)
• Process/Book in product deliveries
• Prepare retouch briefs and liaise with smart source teams
• Thrive in a fast-paced work environment and meet tight deadlines
• Be a positive force for good in the team.

Candidate requirements

We’re on the hunt for a confident written and verbal communicator who has a strong passion for photography and content creation. You should be able to work fast and efficiently while maintaining a high-quality standard, and must have good attention to detail, strong work ethic and willingness to learn/develop.

• Passion for providing the highest level of customer service to new, and existing clients
• Must be detail-oriented, diligent, and very well organised
• Comfortable working with numbers
• Professional demeanor with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to organise and prioritise workload, multi-task using effective time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and adaptability to change in a fast-paced work environment
• Must have a strong work ethic and willingness to meet deadlines
• Ability to take initiative and work calmly under pressure
• Comfortable using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
