Join our team as we empower individuals to express their unique beauty and provide exceptional customer experiences.

As a Beauty Advisor - Skincare at Sephora, your role is to provide exceptional customer service and expert skincare advice to clients. You will be responsible for creating a personalized and engaging shopping experience, helping clients find the right skincare products and routines to address their specific needs. Your knowledge and passion for skincare will drive sales and contribute to the success of our new Sephora store in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

· Customer Service: Greet and welcome customers, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Engage with customers to understand their skincare concerns and goals. Provide personalized skincare consultations and recommend appropriate products. Demonstrate and explain product features, benefits, and application techniques. Answer customer inquiries and provide accurate information about skincare products.

· Product Knowledge and Expertise: Stay up to date with the latest skincare trends, ingredients, and product launches. Develop a deep understanding of the brands and products available at Sephora. Educate customers about the benefits of various skincare ingredients and routines. Provide in-depth knowledge of skincare concerns like acne, aging, hyperpigmentation, etc. Offer advice on skincare regimens and recommend suitable products for individual needs.

· Sales and Targets: Meet or exceed individual and store sales targets by promoting skincare products. Upsell and cross-sell complementary products to enhance the customer's skincare routine. Demonstrate effective sales techniques to drive product engagement and conversions. Collaborate with team members to achieve overall sales goals for the store.

· Visual Merchandising: Assist in maintaining an organized and visually appealing skincare section. Ensure shelves are stocked with an appropriate quantity of products at all times. Monitor product expiration dates and remove expired or damaged items. Participate in visual merchandising activities, including product displays and promotions.

· Training and Education: Attend training sessions and product knowledge seminars to enhance expertise. Stay informed about industry trends, skincare research, and emerging brands. Share skincare knowledge and insights with colleagues to foster a collaborative team environment.

· Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the store team, including other beauty advisors and managers, to create a positive and inclusive work environment. Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues to enhance overall customer service and sales performance. Actively participate in team meetings, trainings, and workshops.

Skills:

· Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the beauty or skincare industry.

· A strong passion for skincare and staying updated on the latest industry trends.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service.

· Sales-driven mindset and ability to meet targets.

· Knowledge of skincare concerns, ingredients, and product formulations.

· Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and during peak retail hours.

· Familiarity with Sephora's brand portfolio is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • East London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
