Opportunity for an ambitious and talented Tester to join a leading Software House in the business sector!

• Salary up to £45,000.
• 37.5 hour working week, 25 days holiday, Pension, Private Health Care, Flexitime, Modern working environment with state-of-the-art offices and much more!!
• Remote with occasional visits to the Office based in York.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

We have an opportunity for an ambitious and talented Software Tester to join our team. You will work closely with Developers and Product Owners in an Agile Team and will become a key member of the Development team. You will take control of the quality of the features and software you work on and take part in regular team stand-ups, planning sessions and sprint reviews. The ideal candidate will be confident working in a fast-paced environment and be able to hit the ground running. You must also be able to manage your workload and deadlines efficiently.

This role is typically a 1 stage interview process so apply ASAP to be considered!

WE NEED YOU TO HAVE…

• Strong manual experience in Web and Mobile Applications.
• Knowledge of workflow management software such as TFS, JIRA, Azure DevOps.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Skilled in API testing with tools such as Postman.
• Knowledgeable on writing test scripts in BDD.
• Previous experience creating and managing your own test plans and strategies.

WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE…

• Experience with SQL.
• Exposure or an interest in automation testing.
• Interest in performance testing and other non-functional testing activities.
• Exposure with coding and writing software.
