Field Service Specialist – Landing Strings

Aberdeen/Offshore

Are you a Field Service Technician with experience in landing strings or hydraulic vales?

SLB is recruiting for a number of Field Service Specialists to work on offshore installations internationally.

You'll be joining during an exciting time of growth, in an organisation providing industry-leading training and progression opportunities.

Responsibilities

Attend offshore installations as instructed to install and operate landing strings and associated tooling as required for the job at hand.
Participate in job risk analysis and continuous improvement programs.
Develop customer contacts to promote company products and services.
Ensure that subordinates receive the training and development. Mentor others as required.
Supervise and own subsea landing string jobs.
Track changes to original plans and record Management of Change.
Ensure the team has the right tools to perform jobs.

Requirements

Previous experience within landing strings or hydraulic valves
Qualification in mechanical/hydraulic and/or electrical trade skills
Possess experience in relevant technical competencies.
Ability to work to deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
