Credit Control Assistant

Overview:

Scarsdale Veterinary Group is a large Midlands based vets in Derby providing exceptional veterinary care to pets, horses and farm animals. We pride ourselves on providing great customer service and top-quality care to all animals. We have a veterinary hospital in Derby for pets, with a further 10 vet practices in Derby and Burton upon Trent, as well as a dedicated farm and equine practice. Our largest practice being Pride Veterinary Centre which is a 24/7 hospital treating both first opinion and referral cases for multidiscipline specialist care.

The Team:

Based within the support services office at Pride Park, the team is supportive, lively and enjoy having a bit of fun in between working hard.

The extended team are mainly Finance, Office Support and Secretarial, but include all other colleagues based at the Pride Veterinary Centre and encompass the other sites within the business.

The Role:

We are looking to recruit a Credit Control Assistant to join our team on a 12 month contract. No day is ever the same within this role, so we need applicants with a willing and “can do” approach. Applicants with previous experience working within Credit Control would be welcomed but those with a similar fast paced administrative and customer focussed background could be a good fit.

The successful candidate will be working within our Admin/Insurance department and will be responsible for monthly client accounts, processing of invoices via email or post and chasing clients for non-payment of their veterinary bills or Insurance claims. Plus Keeping data bases up to date for insurance claims, processing payments received via BACS and Cheques and taking payment via Debit Cards over the phone.

This working hours for this role will be Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm, 37.50 hours a week.
