Position Overview & Specifications

Job description

The role holder will have responsibility to provide data and analysis to support the operations and supply chain process. They will have good working knowledge of Excel, ERP data, power point, power BI, databases to extract and represent data to support business decision making and produce KPIs in line with monthly cycles including policy deployment. The role holder will also support the load and capacity assessment modelling to scenario plan business changes and requirements to support the S&OP (sales & operational planning) process including productivity and efficiency analysis.

Track changes to performance, provide recommendations and collect risks to understand the overall performance. Support the load and capacity assessment for SOP to manage annual 100,000 hrs manufacturing. Production of KPIs in line with business requirements, OTD, missing parts, site review pack, External PPM, sales forecasting etc. Responsible for data accuracy to support good business decision. Reporting improvement to make process more efficient / automated. Contribute to improvement projects as required by the business.

  • Prepare, run, and publish as required (daily / weekly / monthly) key supply chain and operations reports such as OTD, inventory MPS compliance / stability, S&OP load and capacity
  • Prepare and publish site review packs
  • Coordinate and consolidate information from data inputters (such as material intake for inventory) and absence forecasts from operations for load and capacity
  • Maintain / improve / automate exiting reports
  • Support supply chain management team with ad hoc report creation requests
  • Be the expert for supply and operations in terms of BI and reporting tools
  • Define business needs and work with IT with reporting requirements as required
  • Run monthly S&OP files and maintain and improve S&OP tool
  • Ensure consistency with SOP tool and standard times in routing data
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives (green belts / Kaizens)
  • Perform adhoc analysis as required
  • Ensure system data integrity (such as bonded stock system status) and correct as required
  • Coordinate and challenge data inputters to drive accuracy of information
  • Support master data governance

Job requirements

  • Supply Chain or Operations related experience
  • Solid IT skills proficient with Excel / PowerPoint / VBA / Access /Power BI
  • Preferable SQL and BI knowledge
  • Data analysis skills and able to make judgements and recommendations based upon data
  • Able to anticipate and consider the bigger picture in analysis and recommendation
  • Able to summarise key findings
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Self-motivated, thorough, reactive, customer focused
  • Continuous improvement mind set
