ice cream retailer /salesperson

This position is based in Mytholmroyd , you will be required to come to mytholmroyd for the job role.

We are a small family run business which have a great team of staff. We pride ourselves on our award winning ice cream and the quality of the service we provide. Having the largest fleet of ice cream vans in england. Working on our ice cream vans is a very rewarding job. You will work alone when on site, but get to meet many different people throughout your day.

We are looking for a self motivated,Smart, hard working and reliable person, who can work well independently, to serve our customers and drive our ice cream vans.

Requirements:

• Must have excellent customer service skills to join our team.
• A knowledge of basic maths is a requirement as you will need to use these to perform your job role.
• No previous experience of working in our industry required, however a knowledge of food hygiene is preferred.
• A full UK Driving licence is required and we would like a candidate to have a licence to tow ( but the towing license is not a necessity ).
• A full DBS check will be carried out.

Responsibilities:

• making sure your van and equipment is working and ready to go in the morning
• monitor and record temperature checks
• refueled at the end of the day
• fully stocking the vehicle
• keeping the van clean and tidy at all times
• Making sure you are smart and presentable to serve the customers
• ensure you have a smile on your face and greet the customers politely
• Reporting any issues or concerns you may incur
• you will be required to drive to and from the park
