Position Overview & Specifications

Due to the rapid expansion of our business, we are looking to recruit an experienced HR Advisor and Administrator to join our friendly HR team, enabling us to provide the best support to our colleagues and managers.

This is a permanent, part time role. The successful candidate will be based at our new Head Office in Penryn.

We are looking for someone who can either work 3 days per week, preferably Monday, Wednesday and Friday, or someone who can work 5 hours per day Monday to Friday; some flexibility can be offered to the right candidate.

We are aiming to attract someone with at least 3 years recent experience, working in a similar role, and ideally (not essential) someone who has achieved their level 3 CIPD qualification (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development).

Strong IT and organisational skills are also a requirement, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will:

· Predominantly be the first point of contact for all employee relation issues. In depth knowledge of disciplinaries, grievances, performance and absence management processes is crucial.

· Need to have sound knowledge of employment legislation and will be jointly responsible for ensuring compliance and best practice in the organisation.

· Support the HR Lead in implementing benefits and incentives, as well as other adhoc projects.

· Contribute towards the development of the Company’s health and wellbeing strategy.

· Support the existing HR administrator with recruitment processes.

· Update HR records and the HR data base as necessary.

· Audit personnel files to ensure compliance, and enable us to move towards electronic filing.

· Support the health and safety function, and coordinate Occupational Health requirements and DSE assessments.

The salary is negotiable up to £30,000 pro rata dependent on experience. Please provide a covering letter along with your CV. Once we have received enough applications, we reserve the right to close this advert prior to the deadline if required. The contact number for this role is operated on Tuesdays and Fridays between 8.30 and 16.00. Please leave a message outside of these times, or if you are unable to get through.
