Position Overview & Specifications
You will be joining a supportive team of well-established Clinical Psychologists and Cognitive Behavioural Therapists. We have a strong leadership team comprising a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Principal Clinical Psychologist and Lead Cognitive Behavioural Therapist who are able to offer supervision, support, and professional development.
We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist who can demonstrate an interest in adult mental health, who values working as a part of a team and who enjoys the challenge of being part of wider system change. You will be joining us at an important time of service development and there will be opportunity to be part of shaping service delivery which will include working alongside statutory organisations and VCSE partners.
This is a full time, permanent position and we are able to offer flexible and hybrid working.
In Doncaster, psychological professionals are embedded within our community mental health teams and you will be expected to integrate and co-work with CMHT colleagues to provide specialist psychological knowledge and expertise. As a psychological therapies team we offer 1:1 psychological therapy, a range of group interventions as well as team formulation sessions, reflective practice, supervision/consultation and training. You will also be expected to attend MDTs to support the team in developing a trauma informed understanding of the people who access our services and help determine the appropriate treatment pathways to meet individual needs.
We offer placements to DClinPsy trainees as well as supporting newer roles to the NHS such as CAPS and Mental Health Wellbeing practitioners and you will be expected to have a supervisory role.
