Position Overview & Specifications

Rondanini are the UK’s primary supplier, producers, and importers of fine, quality Italian foods. Having supplied many restaurants, retailers, and other food service groups since 1989, we are renowned for our innovative, pragmatic, and creative approach to food solutions.

We are currently looking for a Supply Chain and Logistics Coordinator to join our eclectic and dynamic Supply Chain and Logistics team.

This is a full-time, permanent role: Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:30, based in our South London office in Herne Hill.

Applicants must have the Right to Work in the UK. There is currently no Visa sponsorship for this role.

PRIMARY PURPOSE

The primary purpose of this role is to monitor and manage inventories, and support with the forecasting of sales and production levels, working with factories, owned warehouses and third-parties, as well as supporting logistical and haulier projects.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

· Inventory control and management:

o Minimise wastage and out of stock exposure.

o Daily stock reconciliation with 3rdparty warehouses.

· Demand Forecasting and Planning:

o Analyse available data to make informed decisions.

o Keeping ahead of any seasonal considerations or any other changes that could impact customer demand.

· Purchasing Planning:

o Ensure optimal service levels with customers whilst working within factories and hauliers’ restrictions.

· Transport Planning:

o To maximise transport utilisations and minimise transport costs to remain within budget.

· Administration:

o PO, SO and CO order processing within NAV

o Check invoices of 3rd parties, as required, highlighting any discrepancies.

o Process & file necessary documentation to support Customs clearance.

o Manage, process & complete any claim relating linked to logistics (eg: temperature abuse, load contamination, quality assurance, etc…)

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Demand and supply planning understanding within food or FMCG business
  • Excel & NAV experience in a supply chain environment, is an advantage;
  • Proven experience of successful interaction with key stakeholders, both internal and external (third party suppliers)
  • Demonstration of effective cross-functional working to achieve result;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities will change and need to be acted on quickly;
  • High level of logical thought used in problem solving;
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually;
  • Ability to deal with data from various sources and use it to make business decisions;
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Salary: £25,000 – £34,000 per annum
