React Frontend Developer

For the last few years, we have been working on an exciting software development project internally. This is a new venture, which is on the cusp of launching commercially, where we will be branching it off into its own distinct software company. With the experience, knowledge, talent and backing of ROCK behind it, this will allow our new venture to achieve amazing things!

We’re seeking a Frontend React Developer to join our ongoing quest to create the most epic, innovative, modular, all-in-one business management software. As a Frontend Developer you’ll get to use the latest frontend libraries, taking designs from our Design System and implementing them into the platform.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and contribute to our frontend software stack.
• Work independently in a team and deliver high-quality code in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other teams in the development life cycle.
• Work with a platform that hosts a series of micro frontend components.
• Write robust and thorough automated tests.
• Deploy to production and maintain monitoring.
• Write Clean, Professional, Maintainable, Quality Code.

Essential experience, knowledge, and skills:

• Degree level or similar certification in Computer Science or relevant field
• 4 years+ experience in a frontend development role, with experience using to following technologies:

- React
- Jest and React Testing Library
- Tailwind CSS
- JavaScript (ECMAScript 6+)
- TypeScript

• You have developed modern component-oriented JavaScript applications using frameworks and libraries (e.g React, Redux, Flow, Webpack etc.) or maintained large modern web presences.
• You understand the importance of prioritisation in your work to ensure a good balance between development velocity and code quality

Desirable skills:

• End-to-end testing tooling like Playwright or Cypress
• Node.js
• Docker
• Git
