Location description
Poole based preferred but will consider home-based with the ability to travel to and work from Poole as required for the right candidate.

This newly created role is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and dynamic National Events team.

The ideal candidate is someone looking to develop their career in event management. The role would suit someone with current experience in a junior events position or a recent event management graduate.

This role will give the successful candidate the opportunity to take the lead on planning and delivering smaller events in our portfolio as well as supporting experienced Events Managers with delivering more complex events.

Our portfolio includes lifeboat naming’s, exhibitions and fundraising events.

This is a “hands on” role so we are looking for someone that is equally adept at packing, loading, and driving event vehicles for build-up and breakdown as planning, co-ordinating and networking at events.

As RNLI events can be based anywhere in the UK or Republic of Ireland, we are looking for an independent individual that is happy to travel frequently for work.

Apply to join our crew today!

This post requires a valid driving licence.

This will include relevant criminal record checks being carried out dependent on the eligibility of the role. (England & Wales; DBS check, Scotland; Disclosure Scotland PVG, Northern Ireland; Access NI, Republic of Ireland; Garda Vetting; International, International Child Protection Certificate process).

In addition to having the skills needed for the role, we also look for applicants who share our commitment to living our RNLI values (trustworthy, courageous, selfless, and dependable), and helping us work towards Our Vision: To save Every One.
