We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent communications and interpersonal skills to fill the role of Facilities Admin/Support. This role is an exciting new ‘hands on’ position that will require the successful candidate to monitor the Facilities email address and phone, logging issues on our bespoke system and escalate these to the relevant team members, enhancing the current document/information database. The successful candidate will be pro-active, willing to learn the requirements for working with suppliers, clients and help desks.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Reporting to the National Facilities Manager, you will work closely with the Facilities and Health & Safety teams, maintenance contractors and various Site Managers across the UK
  • You will be required to maintain compliance with legislation and operational procedures, provide helpdesk support, assist in arranging and coordinating maintenance and repairs with contractors, receive and file completion reports and certificates
  • You will be required to assist with maintaining the Maintenance Service Schedules for all sites
  • You will also be required to provide support to the other members of the Facilities and Health & Safety teams
ABOUT YOU

1. Strong organizational skills

2. Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and adapt to change

3. Be able to balance requirements between different business needs

4. Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite

5. Strong interpersonal skills

6. Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

7. Superb attention to detail

8. Preferred but not essential to demonstrate an understanding and experience in Facilities Maintenance scheduling

9. Preferred but not essential experience in maintaining compliance to meet legislative requirements

10. Work closely with other departments

11. Communicate effectively with other stakeholders in the business
