Renault Bolton seeks a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our dealership’s workshop.

The role involves carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs of cars and vans to the highest standards whilst maintaining optimal efficiencies and first-time fix.

Candidates should have

• own tools
• Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQs in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualifications, and
• a full UK Driver’s licence
  

Candidates should preferably have main dealer workshop experience and individuals that also have current DVSA Certification for MOT Testing will be prioritised. Branded workwear and PPE will be provided to the successful applicant.

In this job we operate Monday to Friday plus Saturdays on rota in the following pattern:

• 3 weekdays - 8:30am to 5pm with ½ hr lunch
• 1 weekday - 8am to 4:30pm with ½ hr lunch
• 1 weekday - 9:30am to 6pm with ½ hr lunch
• 1-in-4 Saturday mornings on rota, 8:30am to 12:30pm

In return we offer a £31,296 pa basic salary. This comprises £30,250 pa for weekday work + £1,046 pa for 1-in-4 Saturday mornings paid at time-and-a-half. Uncapped monthly bonuses are paid on top of this which add circa £4,000-£6,000 pa to your earnings.

We are also offering a £2000 welcome bonus to the successful individual when offered the job on or before 31st May 2023 and commencing work by 20th June 2023. T&Cs apply.

To enhance your earnings further, weekday overtime is occasionally available paid at plain time and additional Saturday overtime beyond the core 1-in-4 is available on request and paid at time-and-a-half.
