About the Role
As a Talent & Capability Partner within RELX’s Talent & Capability Centre of Expertise (COE), you will be responsible for supporting the RELX Talent and Capability value proposition and plan within a specific RELX division. The T&C COE creates impactful opportunities to understand employees’ current strengths, to grow their skills and capabilities in alignment with business needs, enabling them to perform, develop and realise their career ambitions.
Responsibilities
  • Supporting the divisional deployment of programmes developed by the Centre of Expertise on Talent & Capability and ensuring the promotion of a range of key strategic priorities across RELX
  • Working alongside the T&C Lead and HR Teams to embed and support the implementation of key priorities, aligning COE and divisional objectives and supporting growth and development.
  • Identifying key talent gaps based on business needs to ensure all COE solutions are relevant across RELX to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
  • Working with managers and HRBPs to assist in the development and management of succession planning processes. Developing high-potential employees for leadership roles and promoting enterprise-wide talent mobility.
  • Providing coaching and guidance to managers and employees on career development and internal mobility, performance improvement, and other talent-related issues
  • Measuring outcomes and evaluating effectiveness at a divisional level; communicating insight to the COE team to enable continual improvement and adaption to changing circumstances

Requirements
  • Have proven capabilities to work within a people oriented, data driven, fast paced & changing business environment.
  • Possess the skill to leverage best-in-class talent practices throughout the organization while making logical decisions based on data and factual information.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence throughout the organiztion.
  • Show a focus on managing risk, ensuring compliance with policies, and role modelling leadership behaviour.
  • Possess the ability to work in a ever-changing, global environment and manage multiple priorities at the same time.
  • Have experience working with HR systems and tools, such as performance management and learning management systems.
  • Have experience working in a complex matrix organization with an evolving CoE environment
