Position Overview & Specifications

Job Summary:

We are looking to hire an experienced individual who has both videography and photography skills exclusively for the fashion brand and sister businesses. The role will be for someone who thrives working in a fast paced environment shooting as well as editing content to accurately reflect the brand for marketing collateral including advertising campaigns, social media initiatives, digital marketing and event content,

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all photographic and video content from start to finish including capturing content and editing for the needs of output.
  • To curate a strong gallery of aspirational images and video content which will be used to reflect the brand in marketing.
  • You will take charge on regular product shoots for both e-com and social media.
  • Play a key role in assisting to shape the visual storyline of content touchpoints while assisting to maintain the brands digital asset library.
  • Deliver impactful animated content, video, motion graphics that elevate brand campaigns.
  • Should be comfortable with both original conceptual design, as well as interpreting creative direction from team members.
  • Keep up to date with trends, best practices, digital advancements and competitors.
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout the creative process in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain a database for all products; collect images, videos and information.
  • Attendance of events to subsequently document them for social media.

Skills and Experience:

  • A strong portfolio over a range of different medias and different styles for various brands/companies.
  • Excellent knowledge of photography/videograhy within the digital domain.
  • Must display excellent technical and photographic skills.
  • Must display a passion for both photographic and video content and a commitment to holding editorial integrity.
  • Have a sound knowledge of the evolving nature of social media.
  • Experience with industry standard editing tools and asset management software.
  • Experience creating within a photography studio and outdoor settings.
  • Multi-tasker that can respond to changes quickly and prioritise workload effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Able to work within multiple brand guidelines to ensure consistent brand look and feel across all media.
  • Self-directed, self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Must display a desire to grow within the brand and see this as a long term position.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, be self-motivated, enthusiastic and have a flexible approach to work and a proactive attitude and ability to work under pressure to deadlines.
