Maintenance Electrician (Electrical)

We are working with well-known client who are specialised to develop and produces machines and accessories for the plastics and rubber industry. they are offering permanent position of Maintenance Electrician based in Manchester

Key specification of Maintenance Electrician are:

• 5 years post apprentice experience of Time Served and Maintenance Electrician.
• Experience of Fault Finding including using CNC controls, Fanuc, Heidenhein, Siemens, Allen Bradley.
• Project work involving electrical design.
• PLC experience.
• Overhead Cranes.
• Confident with electrical drawings.
• Problem solving
• Continuous improvement
• Team working
• Willing to work overtime
• Willing to respond to events and adjust hours accordingly
• Open to new ideas / training
• Willing to train others.

Qualification of Maintenance Electrician:

• 18th Edition Qualification
• NVQ Level 3 or ONC in Electrical Engineering
• Safety badges – working at height, safe isolation, MEWP, IPAF

37 hours per week.

Our client is looking for the candidate who are reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the role of the Maintenance Electrician provides a breakdown / diagnostic service to mainly CNC machining equipment, electrical installation and circuit design to support improvement projects.

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £25,000.00-£26,500.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
