Business Development Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Support Intern to join our team at a placement agent focused on private market investments. The internship will be for 3-6 months with the opportunity to make the role permanent.

We are a small team so you will play a crucial role in supporting us as we raise capital for private market investment opportunities. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry and learn about the private markets landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the sales team with administrative tasks and ensure efficient coordination of activities.
• Conduct market research to identify potential investors, investment opportunities and maintain a comprehensive database of contacts.
• Prepare and update marketing materials, website and social media presence.
• Support the coordination and logistics of client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
• Assist in managing and organising the CRM system to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
• Assist in tracking and analysing sales metrics, performance data, and client feedback.
• Provide general administrative support to the sales team as needed.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
• Strong interest in private markets and alternative investments.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong analytical and research skills to gather and synthesise data effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to take on new challenges.
• Prior experience in sales support or financial services is a plus.
