Professional Support
Student Wellbeing Manager
- Degree or equivalent qualification OR if you do not meet this criterion, the University will also accept a Foundation Degree with substantial relevant experience, directly supporting wellbeing and managing risk in an education setting.
- Minimum of four years’ relevant co-ordination experience of a busy service (education support / pastoral care or one-to-one casework relating to disability, mental health or wellbeing).
- Substantial relevant expertise and knowledge (as part of main role) of dealing with issues that affect the mental health and wellbeing of young people (including cultural diversity and support for young people with disabilities).
- Recent relevant experience of managing individuals at risk as a result of mental ill health.
- Experience of managing a team of staff, including day to day supervision, managing performance and objective setting.
- Experience of leading, developing and delivering wellbeing projects that are creative and engaging to students.
