Pulse is thrilled to be collaborating with one of Scotland's largest health Boards. NHS Highlands offers prehospital treatment as well as primary and secondary care. NHS Highlands oversees a variety of facilities, including a big district general hospital, three rural general hospitals, a psychiatric hospital, and several community hospitals.
About you
As an experienced acute registered nurse, you will join a nursing team, where you will assist in the assessment, planning, and delivery of specialised care. Acute registered nurses must be able to demonstrate their ability to engage in a positive ward culture, support the clinical team, and participate in programmes of care to improve the patient journey and patient experience, all while contributing to the delivery of excellent outcomes utilising the Excellence in Care framework.

What requirements will you need to succeed in this role as a Registered General Nurse?
- You must have 6 months of registered nursing experience
- You must have met the English requirement set out by the NMC
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are required to make rapid diagnoses and decide the right actions to address difficulties
- Observational skills to monitor patient state and detect changes promptly
- To deliver IVs and other therapies
Duties and Responsibilities
- You will be responsible to the Senior Charge Nurse
- To be expected to work on your own merit,
- To be able to work as part of a team and to be able to support your colleagues
- To remain engaged in productive team dynamics.
- To be innovative and creative within their structural role
