The Opportunity
Kama Ayurveda is the number one holistic beauty brand in India, launching in London in Summer 2023. Kama Ayurveda’s plant-based skincare and haircare products draw upon medicinal recipes of centuries-old Ayurvedic botanical oils, tonics and blends that are tested for efficacy by the latest science. In an increasingly frantic world, they help us to reconnect with ancient wisdom that works on all levels of our wellbeing. Using 97 per cent plant-based, biodegradable and clean formulas, this ancient wisdom is repackaged into sensual contemporary textures that feel luxurious on the skin.
Kama Ayurveda is Kind to you, Kind to skin, Kind to our planet, and we are delighted to launch our range of face, body, hair and skincare products in the UK. We are looking for an Ayurvedic Doctor to support our team and clients in our first spa in the UK, in a beautiful new location within Harrods
What you´ll get to do
- You will embrace the Ayurvedic philosophy to build and engage a community
- Provide holistic Ayurvedic consultations, in-store and online
- Educate on Ayurvedic wisdom through Dosha knowledge and birth constitution
- Advise clients on life habits, nutrition and lifestyle
- Advise on beauty routines using the Kama Ayurveda skin and hair care product portfilio
- Collaborate with our teams to ensure the Ayurvedic authenticity of brand tools and experiences, including ingredients, products and treatments
- Educate and train a team of Ayurvedic advisors, alongside the Global Education team
- Occasionally, support PR and Retail events
We´d love to meet you if you have
- Educated to qualified Ayurvedic Doctor level or equivalent
- Experienced in delivering Ayurvedic consultations, including Dosha and birth constitution
- An excellent communicator, with the ability to engage an audience
- Interested in Skincare and Beauty, with the ability to become a trusted brand ambassador
