Personal Care Assistant (pc)

A Whitehaven family are looking for two Personal Assistants to work together to provide 2-to-1 support for their 10-year-old son who has severe learning disabilities and autism to access the local community.

The boy enjoys playing in the garden and at the park as well as swimming, playing football and walking.

Experience is required and support will be given to the successful candidates to understand the child’s needs and challenges. It is preferred that applicants hold a driving licence. The position will be subject to a satisfactory DBS clearance, the cost will be met by the employer.

The hours are 6 hours during term time and 12 hours during school holidays. The family would like the hours to be worked after school or at the weekends, the days can be flexible.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 6-12 per week

Salary: £10.42 per hour
