Job Details
Job title : Finishing Operative (Powder Coat)
Main Duties:
· Pre-treatment and preparation of base materials for paint.
· Loading the track efficiently
· Application of powder coating to customer specification, prioritising work load in line with customer delivery requirements, consolidating finishes wherever possible to reduce setup/down time.
· Inspection of final finish to customer requirements, packing to ensure finish is maintained throughout the delivery process.
· Ensuring an acceptable environment is maintained with the aim of keeping inclusions to a minimum. Doors to be kept closed during certain routines.
· General production duties working within PEPs staff training matrix.
· Ensuring any product tolerance issues during production are brought to the attention of the quality department at the earliest opportunity.
· Ensuring a clean, tidy, and efficient working area.
· Reporting any Health and Safety issues to the shop floor representative, or in his absence to the Health and Safety manager.
· Undertake any other reasonable task required by the company.

We also offer a high end sub contracting paint service, working to Def Stan among other standards.

Hours of work:
5:00am – 14:30pm Mon-Weds
5:00am – 14:45pm Thurs
(4 day week)
Annual leave entitlement in line with UK employment law.
Wage depending on experience
Immediate start available
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £11.00-£13.00 per hour
