Copywriter and Digital PR Executive

Do you have a way with words that make brands ooze with personality? Can you communicate ideas in simple and engaging language? Do you have an eye for spotting opportunities, turning them into compelling stories, and landing those stories in the media?

We are looking to hire a results-driven copywriter and digital PR executive to join the team. You’ll be supporting our growing number of innovative consumer products, including Piddle Patch as seen on BBC Dragons’ Den.

In your role, you’ll create compelling content that speaks to our customers and gets them excited about our products. You will also be in charge of landing coverage in top-tier and niche publications in order to supercharge our SEO:

Your role will include:

• Coming up with stand-out ideas for content and PR/marketing campaigns.
• Developing content for websites, blogs, newsletters, and projects as required.
• Designing, developing, and delivering communications campaigns that fit into a wider marketing strategy, primarily SEO, and which drive targeted referral traffic.
• Working to improve SEO performance by delivering creative PR and outreach campaigns that win high-quality backlinks.
• Building relationships with journalists, media, and influencers.
• Pitching stories to land linked coverage for campaigns.
• Creating and managing media lists.
• News monitoring and topic research.
• Campaign ideation and brainstorming.
• Creating performance reports (PR and social media).
• Maintaining active social media profiles.
• Analysing campaign performance and reporting on success.
