Senior Web Designer & Illustrator

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Web Designer/Illustrator to join our team. As a Web Designer/Illustrator, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly, innovative and sales funneling websites for our products. In addition, you will be required to create illustrations, graphics, and other visual content that will enhance the overall design of the website, as well as other creative design work such as pamphlets, banners, print ads, brochures, etc. You may also be asked to look at our application UI and suggest improvements to make it more appealing. You will also be responsible for overall brand design of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers to understand their design requirements and design preferences.
• Create designs that meet the product managers expectations and objectives, while adhering to brand guidelines and industry standards.
• Design website pages, layouts, and user interfaces that are visually appealing and easy to use.
• Create and edit graphics, illustrations, and other visual content that aligns with the design objectives.
• Work with the development team to ensure that the website is fully functional and optimized for speed and performance.
• Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure that the website is error-free and meets all requirements.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies, and make recommendations for improvements to our design process and tools.
• Ability to research and understand the company's industry, target audience, and unique selling points and create designs that effectively communicate the company's business value to its customers.
• Work closely with the CEO and the product teams to ensure that the designs align with the overall branding and marketing objectives.
• Possess experience with new illustration tools such as Canva, Figma as well as proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and responsive design.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in web design and illustration.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design and illustration skills, including other creative design work such as pamphlets, banners, print ads, brochures, etc.
• Possess experience with new illustration tools such as Canva, Figma as well as proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and responsive design.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
