CCTV OPERATOR – CCTV SHARED SERVICE – 32HRS PER WEEK

We are looking for a highly motivated and self-disciplined individual to join the team within our CCTV control room to help maintain our 24/7 service delivery.

This role assists in the detection and prevention of all aspects of crime and disorder, anti-social behaviour and environmental crime and supports the delivery of the council’s wider objectives.

You will also provide the Councils out of hour’s telephone contact and lone worker services, providing support and advice to the local community and employees for Peterborough and Fenland.

You will need to have outstanding observational and awareness skills with excellent communication skills. You will also be able to successfully pass the relevant security checks and SIA licensing requirements.

The CCTV team cover 24 hours a day 7 days a week and the shifts will reflect this, therefore all applicants will need to be required to be able to work across a shift pattern which includes regular unsociable hours and weekend working.
