Warehouse Coordinator - Nights

What you’re doing

Over the past 12 months our warehouse has grown rapidly as we react to customer demands and we are now ensuring our structures and processes within the warehouse support PerfectDraft’s growth plans and enable us to continue delivering great experiences to our customers.

This role is part of the Warehouse team, based at our TL2 site (Leeds). The Coordinators are experienced and senior Warehouse Operatives, who are highly active on the warehouse floor. As a Coordinator you are an encouraging and motivating presence to the rest of the team within your area. You act as a go to point for Warehouse Operatives, due to your high level of experience and desire to help others develop their knowledge. You are consistently visible on the floor, you are hands on, passionate and enjoy supporting the team achieve. You work closely with the Supervisors to ensure your area is meeting its KPIs. You are a champion of maintaining excellent Health & Safety onsite, including the tidiness of your area. We believe this role is a development role for the Supervisor role, so a desire to upskill and grow is critical.

Reporting to the Supervisor, key responsibilities include:

• This is a role will deputise for the Supervisor when required e.g. to cover holidays or absence
• You will support motivating and engagement Warehouse Operatives to meet KPI’s
• You will support the warehouse operation and our people by ensuring a safe working environment is maintained and areas remain clean and tidy
• You will act as a champion for safety – escalating any concerns to the Supervisor and/or Health & Safety Manager
• You will be a visible, positive presence onsite, acting to motivate and encourage team members in your area
• Support with the development of existing and new employees – ensuring they are supported and welcomed to PerfectDraft
• Work as a key team member, communicating with both your own team and the wider operations team to ensure great results
• Identify and address opportunities or risks within the warehouse to help support the warehouse operation deliver it’s KPIs
• Take pride in your area’s excellence and work with team members within your area to reduce errors and create a great working environment
• Demonstrate genuine care for team members and encourage them to care about PerfectDraft and being the best team possible

Skills & Experience you need to do the role:

• You have experience working within a busy warehouse, including working around MHE
• Previous experience working as a step-up team leader or line leader would be beneficial
• Able to motivate a team, showing great leadership qualities to get the best from your team
• You have strong experience of warehousing including dispatch, receiving, WMS
• Comfortable with using IT e.g. Laptops, Word, Excel
• You have great communication skills
• Able to identify and solve problems as they occur and have a great understanding of when to escalate
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, able to work flexibility and able to work under pressure to meet peak requirements
• Demonstrate role model behaviours at all times and act with great integrity
• Able to escalate concerns in a timely, proactive manner
• You are self-motivated and have the determination to continuously improve and succeed

Shifts Available:

• Wednesday - Friday Nights 19:00 - 07:00 (34.5 hours per week)
