We are an artisitic business based in cardiff, we provide a paint your own pottery service along with other pottery based activities for peole of all ages and abilities.
Our busy pottery studio is seeking an experienced Senior Studio Assistant to join our team. As a Senior Studio Assistant, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring efficient studio operations, providing exceptional customer service, and managing complex complaints.
Responsibilities:
- Host and plan out tables to ensure an efficient and organized studio space.
- Manage staff and delegate responsibilities to ensure smooth studio operations.
- Manage complex complaints and provide effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Correspond with senior managers and relay any issues in a clear and effective manner.
- Handle large bookings and ensure they are properly booked in our system.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customers have a positive experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio and workshop spaces.
- Handle cash and payments in a professional manner.
- Utilize social media and technology to promote the studio and attract new customers.
- Refill shelves with paints and other supplies as needed.
- Willingness to learn new skills and receive training as required.
- Ability to utilise required software to manage staff rota and stock.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively manage staff and studio operations.
- Enthusiasm for the job and the ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Previous cash handling and customer service experience required.
- Artistic experience a plus
- Ability to handle difficult situations with diplomacy.
- Strong communication skills and ability to correspond with senior managers and customers in a professional and effective manner.
