With this role you’ll be joining a team undergoing sustained growth and leading the way with the latest technology. After starting on location in Slough for 5 days per week, there’s an opportunity for a hybrid arrangement after just three months.

As a VB.NET Developer you will have the chance to broaden your skills and gain insights into existing applications, while also becoming an integral part of system design and implementation. Responsibilities include working with internal and subcontractor teams to deliver innovative solutions, investigating and managing technical issues with ease, and participating in software development lifecycle activities. You’ll be responsible for implementing toolkits and APIs for purposes such as integration, performance optimization, security, and scalability.

To be considered, you should have at least 3+ years of experience in VB.NET development technologies and a strong understanding of IIS, ASP, Webservices, XML, XSLT, and JSON. Solid experience in consuming external webservices/APIs, building, and deploying large scale secure RESTful APIs is also required.
