Musical Instrument Technician
- Salary to be agreed, experience dependent
- 4 Day working week (Mon-Thurs 7.30 - 4.30)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Musical Instrument Technician to join our team. This position is well suited to a focused, motivated and creative individual who is looking to develop the skills to make and service electric guitars.
This position is based in the assembly department and answers to the operations manager.
You will be responsible for:
- Dressing Frets/Fretwork
- Polishing Lacquer
- Assembling and testing instruments
Being a creative hands-on role, occasionally you may be required to assist in other areas such as sanding, packaging/shipping and other general roles within the workshop.
Requirements:
- Good motor skills
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Experience working with either wood or guitars is beneficial but not necessary
- A keen eye for detail
- Must be able to play guitar or have some musical background
- Be able to commute to Oswestry
