The Opportunity
As a Software Engineer you will design, develop and maintain our low-level software components and embedded platforms.
Location
Remote, with the option of working from the High Wycombe office.
About You
The Software Engineer will ideally have the following skills and attributes: Experience in PC based software developments using C# (or C++ with a desire to move into C#) Experience working in a product development team Experience with tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio, a source code control system, a bug or issue tracking system, and debuggers Experience in UI design with an interest in learning WPF

Specific Responsibilities
Working within an Agile team to develop high quality functionality to agreed specifications and timescales
Using our internally defined software design methodologies and tools to develop robust software components and systems
Be an active member of the software team, participating in software design reviews and in discussions and trials of new tools and techniques
As necessary, provide ongoing support for new and existing products.
Provide and update appropriate documentation that facilitates others to further develop or maintain the software and systems that you produce, and enables your internal customers to do their work (SQA, Help and Localisation specialists, Applications Scientists, Product Managers and Customer Support staff).
