You will be a key contact for our clinicians, providing them with both clinical and pastoral support to ensure a successful transition to delivering care in the NHS. An integral part of this role is to ensure that there is an effective, efficient, and culturally sensitive pastoral service delivered to each clinician that joins Oxford Health. You will also support the international recruitment lead nurse to deliver OSCE and transition training to our internationally educated nurses.

- To ensure an effective, efficient, and culturally sensitive service is delivered to support each internationally educated clinician recruited by Oxford Health.
- To be the first point of contact for each internationally educated clinician within Oxford Health.
- To manage the arrival, accommodation, and orientation of the international educated clinicians to both the local community and Trust.
- Support the International Recruitment Mental Health Nurse Lead to deliver OSCE training to internationally educated nurses.
- Provide OSCE support to international nurses who are preparing for their exam or resit.
- Support Learning and Development colleagues to deliver transition training to internationally educated nurses.

PLEASE NOTE:
- New starters have a 6 month probationary period. This, together with the induction process aims to create a positive supportive working environment allowing new employees to learn key elements of their role over a reasonable timescale.
- Candidates not currently employed by the Trust who attend an interview for non-qualified Band 1-5 posts are required to undertake numeracy and literacy assessments.
- Appointment to this post is subject to the trust receiving satisfactory references covering 3 years of employment or study. Please ask your referees to respond promptly to reference requests.
