The role

Reporting to the Regional Marketing Manager, the Marketing Assistant will be responsible for creating and editing the copy and images of property listings on the Orbit Homes website and external property portals. Additionally, be responsible for measuring and analysing the performance of online and offline advertising and marketing campaigns and provide a responsive service for the sales leads generated.

What you'll achieve

  • Undertake the daily maintenance of the Orbit Homes website and support the execution of email marketing campaigns
  • Assist with the execution of marketing campaigns - Launch new developments - collateral, sales area setup, signage etc.
  • Support the Regional Marketing Manager with the execution of email campaigns, case studies and press releases.
  • Use web analytics software to monitor the performance of Orbit’s website and make recommendations for improvement
  • Maintain (and where necessary continue to develop) the quality and consistency elements of web writing, navigation and visual treatment – ensuring accuracy, maintenance of house style and editorial policy

What you'll bring

Essential skills

  • Basic knowledge of HTML
  • Building and executing emails using industry standard software packages. Accessibility guidelines and writing accessible content
  • Copywriting skills for all digital platforms
  • Awareness of legal requirements – e.g. copyright and data protection
  • Computer literacy – MS Office, Search Engines and Adobe Acrobat

Desirable skills

  • Experience of using MailChimp and Campaign Monitor
  • Knowledge of Adobe creative suite
  • SEO and techniques to enhance organic search engine rankings
