Hardware Repair Technician

JOB TITLE: Hardware Repair Technician

PAY RANGE: $20-$22 per hour

LOCATION: Fremont, CA

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Main Responsibilities:

• Identify, troubleshoot, and replacing of hardware components.
• Records test results, analyses, and repairs in the RMA system.
• Ensures products meet established quality levels.
• Adjusts calibration to ensure functioning within specified standards.
• Generate repair cost quotation to be transmitted to the end customer.
• Calculate and request repair parts, follow up with parts and materials.
• Performs Firmware upgrades as required.
• Communicates status of testing with manager and other departments as necessary.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Demonstrated skills and experience in electronic circuit analysis and troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with diagnosing, repairing, and refurbishment electrical and mechanical systems
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Experience working with MS Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to input data into a computer and work with a computer screen for long periods of time

Preferred:

• Technical school certificate or college degree
