Commercial Construction Superintendent

COMMERCIAL JOB SUPERINTENDENT FOR COMMERCIAL CONTRACTOR

OPI Commercial Builders is a Commercial Contractor at the forefront of Design/Build commercial campus redevelopment projects, tenant improvement projects of all types, New Building Construction, and Market Ready Projects throughout the bay area. We are looking for an eager and experienced job superintendent to join our already energetic, fun loving while hard working team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of commercial Superintendent experience, have experience in all technology based construction platform, such as Project, Excel, Plangrid, etc., and have confidence in themselves to be able to entertain new challenges. In addition the candidate will excel at being able to direct and control the quality of construction in the field while meeting schedules for each project.

Primary Responsiblities Include:

• Managing subcontractors to ensure quality construction and timely completion
• Interface with clients in regards to progress, milestones, and construction issues that will arise.
• Work with project manager developing master schedules for each project.
• Work with Project Manager to develop and identify scope of work for subcontractors and project estimates on design/build projects if necessary.
• Ensure that job site cleanliness and safety exceed expectations.
• The ability to multitask and work on several projects at once if needed.
• Provide necessary leadership at the project for all subcontractors and labor onsite.
• Maintain positive relationships and company reputation with clients, brokers, and subcontractors.

Additional Responsibilites include

• Submit Timecards in an accurate and timely manner.
• Submit detailed daily reports on a weekly basis.
• Track, review, and confirm field work orders, and change orders with Project Manager
• Conduct weekly safety meetings
• Coordinate prompt completion of all punch list items on each project.
• Provide expense reports using company reporting platform.
• Knowledge of operation of all typical PC platforms including Microsoft Excel, Project, Outlook, Plangrid and mobile apps used by the company is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
