Hygiene Operative

Based in the heart of South Wales, OP Chocolate Ltd has been baking quality wafers for over 75 years. We bake a range of moulded wafers and biscuits and produce chocolate bars and a mallow range in our factory. We have full time, permanent vacancies for hygiene operatives; you will typically be involved in:

· Maintaining and cleaning work areas

The successful candidate will need to:

• Follow written and spoken instructions, and production schedules.
• Pay attention to detail even when tasks are repetitive.
• Be able to act quickly when a problem arises.
• Have good standards of literacy.
• Be able to work as part of a team.
• Be flexible with their approach to working hours.

We have shifts available, including:

Days and Afternoon Rotational Shifts

Week 1: Monday to Thursday 6am to 2pm. Friday 6am to 1:15pm.

Week 2: Monday to Thursday 2pm to 10pm. Friday 1:15pm to 8:30pm.

Having your own transport and previous experience of working in a fast placed food manufacturing environment would be advantageous, but is not essential. Successful candidates will be required to obtain Food Safety Level 2 certificate; this will be arranged by the Company. Other benefits of working with OP Chocolate include:
