Materials Technician

OMNI-CEM Ltd is an independent construction materials test laboratory, specialising in the testing of cements, aggregates and concrete.

In this role you will be working with the laboratory team where you will receive, prepare, and test samples for a range of properties. You will be trained in how to work safely in a quality-controlled laboratory and you will also have the opportunity to gain further qualifications.

Whilst previous experience and science base qualifications would be great, we are always open to applications from candidates with the right ability. We’re not just interested in experience and qualifications; we’re looking for someone with the right attitude and aptitude to fit in at OMNI-CEM.

The ideal candidate will be reliable and highly motivated. They will have a keen eye for detail and be able to follow instructions. They will be a methodical, accurate person who take a sense of satisfaction from getting the testing parameters right every time.
