About the role
We are currently recruiting for an Engineering Stores Person to join our dedicated team at our state-of-the-art Purflet CFC. The CFC boasts world-leading technology and fulfills thousands of customer orders each week.
This role is integral in keeping Ocado moving. The Stores Person is responsible for the ongoing maintenance and management of stock levels in the main and satellite stores using our computerised maintenance management system. On a daily basis, you will be providing spare parts to the Engineering maintenance teams, processing stores purchase orders, invoicing and associated admin processes, goods receiving, inspections, storage, and picking of spare parts. You will build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure best value and excellent service levels.
About you
You have proven experience working in a technical stores environment, and you are keen to progress your career. You have excellent interpersonal skills and you are able to communicate clearly with both internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers. You are target driven, and thrive working in a high-pressure environment. Proficient in the Microsoft package and CMMS (computerised maintenance management system), you have great analytical skills and are proficient in administrative processes.
