Hospital Security Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• To maintain a secure and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

• To control access to the hospital, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors are allowed onto the premises.

• To conduct regular patrols of the hospital to deter criminal activity and ensure the safety of all on-site.

• To respond to incidents promptly and efficiently, following all hospital policies and procedures.

• To report all incidents and escalate any issues to the appropriate authority.

• To communicate effectively with hospital staff, patients, and visitors.

• To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of incidents and daily tasks.

• To attend and participate in all required training and development.

Key Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 years of experience in a similar role.

• Must hold a valid SIA license.

• Must have a good understanding of both spoken and written English.

• Excellent communication and people skills.

• Ability to work in a challenging environment.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

• Flexible approach to working hours and duties.

• Good physical fitness and able to perform physical duties.

• Willingness to undergo a DBS check.
