Position Overview & Specifications

We are looking for support workers to join a team of staff in Jersey - providing care support to children with disabilities and challenging behaviour. Apply now if you have the following experience and can commit to work for a minimum of 6 weeks in Jersey.

Summary:

  • Nursing Direct are looking to appoint Support Workers/Carer's with experience looking after children to work in a 1:1 capacity in residential children's home.
  • We are looking to appoint candidates on a 6 week contract with the view to extend should you wish.
  • All costs for accommodation, travel and allowance are covered by Nursing Direct assuring we can transition you into the role as smoothly as possible
  • Payrates will start from £15.00 per hour
  • We can offer full-time or part-time contacted work to suit you and you will have down time around your shifts to do as you please.

Requirements for HCA’s:

- MINIMUM of 1 months UK Healthcare experience
- MUST be hardworking and adaptable by responding quickly to changes
- MUST be passionate about high quality individual and teamwork
- MUST have a current DBS (inside a year or on the update service)

Essential requirements:

  • 3 years’ experience working with children
  • Children’s DBS
