Surface Mount Technician

Nu Staff Recruitment are looking for Surface Mount Technicians for their Caldicot based Client.

The work requires excellent attention to detail and dealing with small parts.

Hours of work: Mon - Thurs Days 7.30am -4pm / Friday Days 07.30am -1pm

Pay : £10.42 per hour

This work is an ongoing Temporary position 6 months +

Job Details:

Previous SMT experience essential

Support Surface Mount assembly line/equipment

Ensure that new products flow smoothly through the SMT equipment following appropriate procedures

•Perform inspection, corrective and preventive actions and other quality assurance related assignments to ensure that the SMT line is producing a quality product

Skills required

• Basic numeracy and literacy to Gcse grade c and above (English / Maths)
• Attention to detail
• Use of a computer
• Ability to follow careful instruction
• Willingness to learn
