Advert text

We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic individuals who want to nurture their potential and support the delivery of service improvement and change.

Are you passionate about discovering new ways to make a difference in people's lives? Do you have what it takes to support our mission to create a caring and empowering culture? Can you help us reaffirm "People at the Heart of Care" through Adult Social Care Reform and other initiatives?

If you answered yes, you're one of the people we are looking for to be part of shaping the future with us! We have some exciting opportunities that are ready for your unique skills and abilities.

In this role you will be expected to:

  • Build positive working relationships with colleagues and partners.
  • Be solution focussed.
  • Take the lead for pieces of work or smaller projects that support the priorities for the department.
  • Provide support to Project Managers and operational leads to scope, track, plan and monitor projects.
  • Work with a range of teams across the whole Adult Social Care Department.
  • Be able to provide and analyse information and data for senior managers.

Our department's aims are around making a difference in social justice and promoting equality of outcomes and access for everyone. If this means something to you and you're ready to grow your career, please get in touch.

Here are some reflections from a current colleague in the team:

“I first started working for the Council in a Business Support role and for the first few years had other business or project support roles. Through these roles I developed a wide range of skills and experience. I moved into one of the corporate teams and with their nurturing and support was able to progress to the role of project officer on a permanent contract. I realised that a lot of the skills I had developed were transferrable to this role. I then successfully went on to become a project manager”.

For more information about these roles please contact: Chris Wall at chris.wall@nottscc.gov.uk

This post is also available as a secondment opportunity to existing Nottinghamshire County Council employees. You must seek approval from your line manager before applying.
