37.5 hours per week covering matinees, evening, weekend and Bank holiday shifts as required.
The Hospitality Supervisor will ensure the smooth running of operations in all our Commercial areas. Working alongside the Hospitality Duty Manager and directing the Hospitality team each day in our Bars, Restaurant, Café and Events the role will deliver a first class experience in all our Commercial activities in our 3 Buildings
Main Purpose of the Role
- To assist Commercial Operations Manager in the smooth day to day running of all Norwich Theatre commercial areas- Restaurant, Bars, café, roving sales and Events
- To ensure Customer care and standards of service in all areas are of the highest level and meet the standards set by the Head of Commercial
- Provide supervision and guidance for the Hospitality team
Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations and sales
- Provide supervision across commercial operations to ensure sales are maximised at all possible times; during show time and outside of these times
- As Supervisor work in all commercial areas supporting Commercial Operations Managers in specific area operations on a daily basis including Bars, Restaurant, Café, Events and ancillary sales
- Ensure weekly targets are shared with teams to motivate and help drive sales
- Ensure stock and displays for sales of Sweets, ice creams, Programmes and merchandise are in place for show time to maximise sales
- Supervise Norwich Theatre Hospitality Events both internal and external, to ensure excellence in product and delivery as required by the Head of Commercial
- Working with Commercial Operations Manager ensure product selection stock levels are maintained appropriately to ensure maximum sales
- Working with Hospitality Duty Manager ensure all pricing is displayed correctly and in an appropriate manner in line with our brand guidelines
- Ensure displays and signage are up to date including point of sale material, following brand guidelines
- Ensure highest standard of food and drink service all in areas of responsibility that meet Visitor and Norwich Theatre expectations
