This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Parts Controller to join the UK’s leading Rental specialist in our increasingly busy site in Leeds.

Being a Parts Controller, you are at the heart of our Team. You are responsible for booking customer cars in for repair, ensuring all the right parts are ordered and on site ready for our technicians, an important aspect of the role is the preparation job cards with clear instructions. Dealing with customer enquiries, giving vehicle progress reports, also dealing with a number of suppliers on a daily basis. Checking over job cards to ensure all the correct information is recorded and filed on the system. You will arrange and allocate courtesy cars for customers and on completion of the job, collect payment from the customer, paying particular attention to banking/ security arrangements and the payment of excesses on certain insurance policies

In the role of Parts Controller, the most important part of your job is to ensure complete customer satisfaction. It’s your role to liaise between the customer, the Technicians and any 3rd parties to ensure each and every customer has a first class service. Another very important aspect of the job is teamwork as you will be working with other colleagues in the Workshop as well as across other functional areas.

About You;

Ideally you have experience as a Parts Controller, ideally from a solid Rental/Automotive background - within a Car Dealership, Body Repairer or Crash Repair Centre, whether the job at hand is routine or more complex, you will know just how to solve it.
You come from a fast-paced background – you know how to work in a standard job time structure with a focus on producing compliant, high-quality work.
You can do more than one thing at once – you can be sure you will never be looking for something to do, so being able to prioritise and plan your work is key.
You will have a full UK/EU Driving Licence
You get involved in every part of our business – you take pride being part of the Northgate vehicle hire team and are keen to help colleagues with a hands-on, can-do approach to getting things done.
